Dental And Surgical

An estimated 85% of dogs and cats have some form of periodontal disease. Pets can experience everything from pain to bad breath. Chronic infections of the teeth and gums can cause problems elsewhere in the body including the liver, kidneys, heart and lungs. Good dental care lengthens a pet’s life an average of 10-20% through the prevention of these secondary problems.

Exotic Pet Services

Birds and other exotic pets tend to hide signs of illness until they become life-threatening emergencies. Routine examination and laboratory testing can help with the detection of certain infectious and metabolic diseases in the early stages before they become serious illnesses, just as they can for other companion animals. Annual examination and preventative health care are recommended to help your pet live a long and healthy life.

Routine Medical Procedures

All pets are required to have a physical examination before any medical procedure.

Diagnostic testing is recommended based upon your pet’s examination. Estimates will be provided if requested.

Vaccinations are done based on individual patient needs. Wellness profiles or other tests may be recommended if your pet fits certain risk categories.

We offer a variety of outpatient and surgical procedures to our clients. These include prophylactic dental care, vaccinations, routine surgical procedures, radiographs, and many in house laboratory tests.

For procedures that are not performed in our clinic we offer referral services or external laboratory services which will be decided by the doctor at the time of your visit.

Laser energy induces a biological response in the cells called “photo-bio-modulation”, which leads to reduced pain, reduced inflammation, and increased healing speed.
